The decision to nominate Agrigento was influenced by its vision to explore the relationships between the individual, society, and nature, with a particular focus on hospitality and mobility. With its proposal, Agrigento aims to present a program that captures attention not only at the local level but also nationally and internationally, solidifying its role as a center of culture and history in the heart of the Mediterranean.
