Overview

Day 1 – Welcome to Sicily | Catania

Arrival at Catania Airport (18:55), meet and greet with our local staff and warm welcome to Sicily.

19:30 Transfer to the hotel (20:30) ,check-in.

(21:00) Dinner featuring typical Sicilian products, offering a first taste of local flavours.

Overnight stay.

Day 2 – Mount Etna & Taormina | Volcano, Wine & Mediterranean Charm

(09:00) After breakfast, meet your local guide and head towards Mount Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano.Ascend through spectacular lava landscapes up to approximately 3,000 metres, enjoying breathtaking views and a unique volcanic atmosphere.

(13:30) visit a local winery on the slopes of Mount Etna, where you will enjoy a wine tasting combined with a light lunch, the perfect moment to relax and savour authentic Sicilian flavours.

In the afternoon, continue to Taormina (15:30), one of Sicily’s most iconic towns. Enjoy free time to stroll through the elegant historic centre, soak in panoramic sea views and experience the town’s lively atmosphere.Optional visit to the Greek Theatre (entrance fees not included, subject to time availability).

Return to the hotel (19:30).

(20:30) Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 3 – Catania & Syracuse | Baroque Heritage and Ancient Greece

After breakfast,(09:00) meet your local guide and head into the heart of Catania (10:10), a vibrant city shaped by lava stone and Baroque architecture. Enjoy a guided walking tour through the historic centre, discovering its lively squares, churches and local atmosphere.

Lunch in a local restaurant (12:30), featuring traditional Sicilian cuisine.

In the afternoon, transfer to Syracuse (14:00), one of the most fascinating cities of ancient Sicily. (15:30) Guided tour of the Neapolis Archaeological Park, including the Greek Theatre, the Ear of Dionysius, the Latomiae and the Altar of Hiero II, followed by a visit to the charming island of Ortigia, the historic heart of the city.

Return to the hotel (19:30) in the evening.

(21:00) Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 4 – Palermo City live & Street Food Experience

After breakfast (08:00), departure towards Palermo, the vibrant capital of Sicily, often described as the island’s most Arab-influenced city. Short restroom stop en route (10:15). Arriving to Palermo,start a guided walking tour (11:15)through the historic centre follows, passing through iconic landmarks such as Piazza Pretoria, Quattro Canti and Via Vittorio Emanuele, the ancient main axis of the city.This walk offers a fascinating insight into Palermo’s unique blend of cultures, architecture and everyday life.

The experience continues with a Palermo street food tasting (13:00), discovering one of the world’s most celebrated culinary traditions, ranked among the top 5 street food destinations worldwide by Forbes. Along the way, guests will taste local specialties such as arancine, panelle, and, for the more adventurous, the iconic pane con la milza — a true symbol of Palermo’s food culture. Free time is then available for shopping, relaxing in a café, or enjoying a refreshing Sicilian granita with the famous brioche “col tuppo”.
